Men and women with various types of grief are all welcome!

The goal of this group is to provide a safe place with no judgement, letting you know you are not alone and are not the only one going through what you are experiencing. This group is faith-based and provides understanding into one's Grief Journey with a supportive and caring environment (no curriculum used). It is a structured time together, while allowing each session to run organically, based on the needs of those attending.

It's common to develop a poor mental health when grieving the loss of a loved one, so each week we have a topic about improving mental health so that you can have mental well-being.

Our goal is to help you find support, fellowship, hope, and coping skills to keep you moving through your mourning to experience peace and healing.

ALL ARE WELCOME TO JOIN US!

"Attending CCWC grief support has been such a blessing. We lost our son Brett at 26, 5 years ago. Never did I see myself feeling this depth of heartbreak, as a mother, it's not the future you had looked forward to.

Through this ministry under Julie and Steve, we have found a God -centered environment that supports all walks of grief with compassion, encouragement, and love.

Each week we can individually share our hearts if we choose, and are lifted with new readings, music, and helpful topics on grief.

Thank you Julie and Steve for your heart and ability to help others on their grief journey, even as you also mourn your losses.

May God bless you both ♥️

"God sent Julie to me, no doubt. These meetings have made me understand that hope is still there. I have been attending regularly and know I am not alone with the grief I have inside me. Going to these meetings always makes me feel better upon leaving. It is helping me to regain my faith."

"Julie and her husband Steve put on a Memorial Service for the Grief Support ministry at Calvary Chapel Worship Center giving the grieving the opportunity to have closure or a proper goodbye to their deceased loved one.

I originally was not going to attend because I had lost my brother back in September, but I had attended 2 different services for him already and made peace with his passing.

Yet, I was encouraged to come and memorialize my ex husband. About 2 years ago he had walked out on me accusing me of cheating. My life after 22 years was turned upside down and he was unbelievably cruel for quite sometime after that. It hit me like a ton of bricks and it shattered my heart.

I've taken a lot of steps to try to get past the turmoil that he caused. At the same time, the love I still had for him was bringing me to tears for way too long.

So, I came to the Memorial that was set up as part of our weekly grief support. The amount of prayer and compassion that I was given made a huge impact on me. Things have been better all around and more positive ever since.

So, if anyone is in need of wonderful support with a welcoming Christian atmosphere, come be part of our group every Tuesday from 7 to 8 pm.
